HP launches the New series of Notebooks
Bangalore, September 26, 2008 – Hewlett-Packard (HP), the leading Consumer Notebook PC brand in India, today launched a brand new series of trendy and stylish Compaq notebooks, which boasts of several valuable never-seen-before software and features in the Compaq range.
Designed for the uber cool, modern and street smart youth who want to straddle both work and play and need access to features like powerpoint presentations to multimedia entertainment, the latest Compaq series lives up to the promise of computing across both worlds. Its modern features- the backlit keyboard, finger print reader and HDMI 1.3 add to its chic look. And that’s not all – the notebook boasts of a built in TV tuner card, Blue ray drive and an infra red remote control that completes its versatility and makes it worth an investment for all TV buffs.

To further strengthen the leadership with an aggressive ‘Go-to-Market’ strategy, HP India plans to expand its retail footprint across 600 cities and expand the retail partner network to over 6000 by the end of this year. The new range of HP Compaq notebooks will be offered to customers through HP’s wide network of exclusive HP stores, multi-brand outlets and large format retailers.
The new range of Compaq notebooks are priced in the range of Rs. 26,990/- to Rs. 48,990/.
