Hyderabad: Chief executive officer of Microsoft Corporation Steve Ballmer today unveiled the future road map of new technologies, that company to announce this year.
Accepting indirectly that Windows Vista is only “much talked about” technology but not so popular, Ballmer said Windows7 would rock the world.

Microsoft is expected to release Windows7 by December, may be a Christmas release.
Despite many technology experts expressed displeasure on Windows7 on their beta experience, Ballmer said ‘It is exciting product.’
Ballmer announced releasing of updated version of Windows Server 2008 R2 in December and also said, the company may announce wave of new technologies in next year.
Microsoft also plans to release Windows Azure, Visual Studio Team System 2010 and updated version of Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.
The highlighting point of Ballmer’s keynote address is in directly; the Microsoft head accepted its in efficiency in providing competition to Google in search engine market. “We invite competition on PC’s. They are doing well on their area and we are also doing some extent,” he said.
Giving a broad view on global economic situation, Ballmer said, global economy is on resetting mode and he is optimistic about the future.
