65 DLF Indian Premier League cricket matches live broadcast on You Tube for 45 days

Hyderabad: DLF Indian Premier League cricket matches ( DLF IPL 2010 ) will be broadcast live on social media network You Tube now. Search enginer major Google India announced an agreement with the Indian Premier League and its licensing partner Global Cricket Ventures to live stream all the action from latest season on a dedicated IPL channel on YouTube at www.youtube.com/ipl. This is going to be the First major sporting event to be live-streamed across the globe on a social media network. All 60 IPL matches over 45 days to be broadcast live on the portal. Google-IPL agreement is valid for two years and both companies will share revenues from sponsorships and advertising on www.youtube.com/ipl and on www.iplt20.com the official website of IPL.
In support to the tie up, Google will also host a special IPL branded Orkut Community which will host live chats with the Man of the Mathc, team owners along with contests and match polls. Users can also access the highlights clips on mobile.
