Here is a surprise for you. The recent study done by Gaadi.com on consumer’s car buying preference and psyche revealed so many interesting things. Just have a look.  Gaadi.com is India’s leading auto portal.
The portal, recently conducted a survey to analyze consumer’s car buying preference and psyche.  The survey was conducted on the visitors to Gaadi.com using the “Recommend Me a Car” feature, for a period of two months. The survey took into account the respondents age, occupation and gender. The total respondent size was 28,934 across India, with 88% males and 12% females.
Following are the interesting trends that have emerged from the survey:
-Over 46% of the women respondents look for Sedans as their first car
-For over 45% of the Indian buyers, style and comfort are the most important parameters while purchasing a car over mileage
-Over 55% Indians state that they are keen on purchasing a Sedan over a hatchback without keeping the hurdles of traffic jams in mind
-Respondents under the age of 30 are willing to spend almost twice their annual income to buy their first car
-People in an annual income bracket of Rs.3L-9L are willing to spend their entire annual income on a new car purchase
